Our Vision
In a world of enshittification, shrinkflation, and a loss of our proverbial village, we are bringing local artisans and artists together to sell their wares to the community. We also sell craft supplies, so you, too, can make your own products. We value community and helping each other out as much as possible with shopping local and putting our money back into our village. Why buy from Amazon or Temu when you can buy higher quality goods directly from your neighbors?
Our Plan for the Future
Aside from selling local artisan wares, craft supplies, and esoteric goods, we are planning on helping fill Philomath's cuisine gap by having food trucks throughout the year and using the outdoor space as a very needed third space for the city. In the long term, we are planning a seating area (covered for year-round use), a kids play area, and a space to hold lectures, classes, and other events to celebrate human artistry. The barn at the back of the property will eventually be a rentable studio space for artists to store their materials and work on their craft without messing up their living space.
About Us
We are Glenn and Kris Stelter! We are both professionally registered archaeologists who believe that art is a human experience (so no AI work here!) and that we are strongest in a community that values itself. We love Philomath and want to see our community succeed.
